Hi there... at the Moment the Proton Turrets are nearly useless cause they dont aim. and a Turrets without Aim do One Thing, firing all ammunition useless into outer space with no Hit i dont think its planend this way. pleas fix that!

Cool, found the bug with this. It was actually fixed before, but didn't get uploaded due to the way that caching works in the launch process. Will be fixed in the next version.
Also found out why the Torpedos and Proton torpedos were being incorrectly shot down by tiny flak... Now only Heavy Flak will provide a defence against these powerful weapons.
Finally, fixed a bug where excessive damage to shields was not carrying over onto a ship's armour. This would have provided even the smallest ship with shields the ability to completely survive an initial plasma shot.

Torpedoes only shot down by heavy flak? Cool, then here weapons get dangerous again! What about the "electronics module"? Will this still work on the torpedos or is the only prevention the heavy flak?

The ECM module will still work half the time as normal. I can see a single cruiser with photon turrets completely destroying an entire fleet of destroyers before they get a shot off now...

I have checked something the last fights...
I equiped my eagle frigates with torpedos and let them run against Seko's battleships... I know cause of the fights against him that he have nearly fully upgraded battleships with ECM modules and armor modules...
Now here's the problem, no torpedo came to his battleships... At high times, I had 10 torps running at the same time, but no torp hits. I hate to admit it, but we need a little decreasing of the efficiency of the ECM it think cause he even had no defence or heavy defence turrets...

And it's me again Seems that the proton turrets and proton launchers only launch 1 shot each per fight. I dunno if I am wrong, but you only see the bombs flying at the start of a battle, after the first 5 seconds there's too much lightning and so on at the battlefield So, maybe it's meant this way, but I thought launchers and turrets have 4shots each?

They do fire 4 shots, it is just that there is a hefty cooldown between each.

Then theres still some Tuning needed for this weapons (same at the torp side) cause at the moment the weapons stop firing their deadly payload at a specific point when the game thinks "hm, ok, we done enough damage" but the enemy ships are still alive....
You could test this issue with bombers and heavy shielded battleships (seko) or just damaged battleships with usual shields.
Normally I like my weapons to be fired till the enemy is crushed;)

I've got a problem with the proton bombs, my bombers like to fire one and hold on to the other or they refuse to fire at all. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Sure think, I can tweak the parameters on those weapons. Just as long as you don't complain when your battle cruiser uses two proton bombs on a single destroyer

As Long the destroyer dont Crack with the First One, its ok for me;) But theres nothing more horrible then flying with a Bomber squad against a battleship and the Bombers dont use their Main weapons cause the battleship is already damaged;)

Very good points Virgil. I'll tell those bomber pilots to be more aggressive with their WMDs. They currently are too adverse to overkill.
